I enjoy visiting schools, and offer visits to both Primary and Secondary Schools. My books and content are most suited to KS2 and KS3.

Author Talks

(Suitable for KS2 & KS3)

My author talks (suitable for large numbers of students) are very interactive and include my journey to being a published author, the inspiration behind the the book; info and excerpts from Hexed, plus a ‘Bringing Your Character to Life’ acting session.

The talk lasts 1 hour including a Q&A.

This event can include a signing session as well, where children have the opportunity to buy a copy of the book and meet the author after the event.

Creative Writing Workshop

(Suitable for Years 5 - 9)

My workshops are suitable for groups of around 20-30 students, and focus on the essential elements of storytelling - plot, characters and setting. These workshops provide an opportunity for students to delve into the craft through completing a variety of tasks.

I am based in Essex with access to a car, so am happy to visit anywhere within the region. I can visit other parts of the UK, but please email to discuss.

I charge £500, plus expenses, for a full day visit (of three or four sessions and a signing), or £350 plus expenses, for a half day visit (of one or two sessions plus a signing). All costs are in line with the recommendations of The Society of Authors.

​​I am also happy to visit you virtually with prices starting from £100 for a 40 minute class session.
